Nora Sate Kajang in Selangor

"I've been a customer of Nora Sate Kajang for decades but mainly for take outs. They are the best satay seller in the entire Section 14 PJ and also offers catering services for weddings and gatherings. Beef satay is Nora Satay Kajang's best seller, followed by chicken satay. They also have cow's stomach satay in small quantities but unfortunately don't serve lamb satay. Prices are reasonable at RM1 per stick for beef & stomach but the meat pieces have shrunk in size over the decades. Nasi himpit (compressed rice cubes), sliced red onions and cucumber complement a single order without surcharge but additional nasi himpit is available for a small fee. Most customers opt for takeaway even long before Covid-19 due to the very poor ventilation of the aging food court. It's best to call Nora Satay Kajang to order in advance as sometimes they run out of satay (usually beef) hours before closing time. Other than satay, chicken soto (soto ayam) is also offered depending on availability. Operates until 7pm and closes on each Monday."

"My favorite place for satay in Petaling Jaya. The satay pieces are large and well marinated and the taste is comparable to the best of Satay in kajang. The costs of each satay stick is reasonable at RM1 per stick for both chicken and beef. They also have satay "perut" and it is only RM1 per stick. I never fail to order their "soto" which is delicious and costs only RM 4 each."

Call to order, pick up and eat at home is the best. The soto ayam is qlso divine and a must-try. My late mom used to tapau when we were kids. Now I am doing the same for my children."

"The satay at Nora is good value for your money. Generous sticks of satay, without large chunks of fat ... and a good amount of sauce. The satay is nicely marinated, good smoky aroma. And if you prefer, ask for more charring. A friendly, honest vendor offering honest, friendly food."

"I have been getting my beef and chicken satays from this shop from the 1990s. The meat has always been tasty and with good portions on each stick. The satay sauce is to my liking, although less spicy compared to other satay shops. Usually call in advance for large orders. The few shops I know that still depend on landline (no mobile that I am aware of) but it has never been difficult to contact them. For takeaways, just stop for a while near the market entrance and quickly grab your order. There is also a multistorey parking at the market building. Many other nice eateries at this market food court."
